"PAZO" (COUNTRY HOUSE) PAZO DE CERNADAS IN VAL DO DUBRA A CORUÑA - turgalicia.ficharecurso.galicia

Pazo constructed to be a stately residence, but which was used as an asylum and presently houses the "Hombre" Project. Associated with San Martín Pinario and the Counts of Bugallal. U-shaped ground plan. Worth noticing on the main facade are the two sections of access stairs that are joined in first stage, four balconies on the left wing, and on the right-hand one, there are six windows and a coat of arms. Adjoining chapel, containing the tombs of the Counts of Bugallal. Enclosing wall with a doorway, made from ashlar masonry and a large door with a triangular split pediment, decorated with balls and flanked by two circular sentry boxes with adjoining stone benches.
